Photographing deeper skin tones well requires more than applying the same lighting and editing to every client.
Accurate Exposure
I balance natural and professional lighting to preserve detail in both highlights and shadows while keeping deeper complexions rich and dimensional.
Natural Color
White balance and color are adjusted carefully so your complexion stays true instead of looking gray, overly warm, washed out, or artificially brightened.
Natural Retouching
Retouching is used to clean temporary distractions while preserving natural skin texture, facial features, body shape, and the characteristics that make you recognizable.
Lighting for You
Different skin tones, facial features, body types, outfits, and locations respond differently to light. I adjust the setup around the person being photographed rather than forcing every client into one lighting formula.
