A New Orleans debut blending emo trap, lo-fi R&B, and boom bap into a personal story of love, betrayal, and heartbreak.

New Orleans producer Noré M Beats releases his debut album, Hidden Rollercoaster, on March 20, 2026, on all streaming platforms.
Blending emo trap, lo-fi R&B, and boom bap, the 10-track project follows the emotional arc of a relationship from the high of falling in love to the drop of betrayal, heartbreak, and breakup.
Built with a clear story arc, Hidden Rollercoaster is split into two emotional halves. The first five songs reflect the excitement, closeness, and euphoria of new love, like the steady climb of a rollercoaster. The final five songs shift into the fall, tracing heartbreak, lies, and emotional fallout.
The album grew out of personal relationship struggles, along with the isolation and loneliness of the COVID quarantine period. For Noré M Beats, the project became a way to finally release the music and songwriting created during that time and give those emotions a finished shape.
“Hidden Rollercoaster came from trying to make sense of emotions I was carrying for a long time,” says Cameron Populis, aka Noré M Beats. “The first half feels like getting pulled into love and believing in it, and the second half is the crash when that trust breaks. I wanted it to feel personal, honest, and familiar to anyone who has lived through both sides of that.”
Four singles lead the release: “On My Mind” and “Home,” which reflect the warmth and pull of early love, and “All in My Mind” and “Fly,” which move through heartbreak and emotional confusion.
The project also features New Orleans independent artist sayve on “On My Mind” and “your eyes.” All songs on the album were produced, arranged, mixed, and mastered by Cameron Populis.
As a debut release, Hidden Rollercoaster introduces Noré M Beats as a young New Orleans producer with a personal, story-driven sound and a clear emotional point of view. The album also opens a larger arc that will continue in future projects.
Hidden Rollercoaster is available on all streaming platforms beginning March 20, 2026.
