What’s Included in New Orleans Wedding Videography Packages?

Videography packages can look similar at a glance, but the details matter. Two packages with the same number of coverage hours can deliver very different final results.

Before comparing prices, review my New Orleans wedding videography services to see how coverage, audio, editing, and final film delivery are handled.

Most wedding videography packages include a set number of coverage hours, one or two videographers, edited footage, and at least one finished film. The most common deliverables are a highlight film, a full ceremony edit, and edited versions of speeches or formal dances.

Good audio should be part of the conversation early. Clear vows, toasts, and ceremony audio are what make a wedding film feel complete. Without strong audio capture, even a beautiful edit can feel flat.

Some packages also include drone footage, teaser films for social media, raw footage, longer documentary edits, or separate cuts of the ceremony and reception events. These options can be useful, but they should not distract from the main question: Does the package cover the moments you care about most?

Ask how the videographer approaches the day as well. Are important events staged, lightly directed, or captured as they unfold? That decision affects how natural the final film feels.

A strong videography package should be easy to understand. You should know what is covered, what will be delivered, and what style of final film you can expect.

What Each Wedding Videography Package Includes

Wedding videography packages aren't just about how many hours someone films your celebration. The biggest differences are often the finished videos you'll receive.

Here's how my New Orleans wedding videography packages compare:

Package

What You'll Receive

Bronze

An edited 3–5 minute highlight film and digital delivery

Silver

A 4–6 minute highlight film, professional audio capture, and a separate full ceremony video

Gold

A highlight film, full ceremony video, reception events edit, second videographer, and highlight video album

Platinum

Everything in Gold, plus a longer 5–8 minute highlight film, a 1–2 minute trailer, and three social media clips

Bronze and Silver include eight hours of coverage, while Gold and Platinum include ten hours. Additional services and customized coverage options are available.

What's Not Automatically Included in a Wedding Video Package?

A wedding highlight film isn't the same as receiving every minute of footage recorded throughout the day.

Depending on your package, these may be optional upgrades:

  • Full ceremony edit: A separate video preserving the complete ceremony.

  • Reception events edit: Extended coverage of introductions, speeches, formal dances, and other planned moments.

  • Raw footage: The original, unedited video files recorded during your wedding.

  • Drone footage: Aerial views of the venue when weather, venue rules, and FAA regulations permit.

  • Additional videographer: Expanded camera coverage and additional angles during important moments.

  • Trailer and social media clips: Short edits designed for sharing.

Before choosing a package, decide which moments you want preserved in full rather than only appearing briefly in a highlight film. This makes it easier to compare packages based on what you'll actually watch and share years later.

Find the Right Wedding Videography Coverage

The right package depends on your wedding timeline, the moments you want captured, and which finished films matter most to you.
