Photography Travel Fees & Accommodations
Chad Populis Photography proudly serves clients throughout Louisiana and beyond. Whether your photography needs take us to Baton Rouge, Houma, Lafayette, the Northshore, the Gulf Coast, or an out-of-state destination, travel arrangements are discussed in advance to ensure clear pricing and reliable coverage.

Local Photography Travel
Travel within 30 driving miles of ZIP code 70056 in Gretna, Louisiana, is included in your photography coverage.
​
Extended Louisiana Travel
For locations beyond the local service area, travel is calculated at $200 per additional 100 round-trip driving miles, equivalent to $2 per mile beyond the included 60-mile round trip.
​
Travel charges are rounded up to the nearest $25. Driving assignments exceeding 300 round-trip miles receive a customized travel quote.
​
Overnight Accommodations
Overnight accommodations are required for photography assignments located more than 125 driving miles from my Gretna home base.
​
Accommodations may also be necessary for closer destinations when an event ends late or the return trip would be impractical.
​
A safe, comfortable hotel near the photography location is requested. Shared accommodations are acceptable when appropriate for the traveling photography team.
​
Meal Per Diem
When meals are not provided, a daily meal allowance of $50 per traveling photographer applies for each required travel day.
​
For assignments involving multiple photographers, meal allowances are calculated according to the number of traveling team members and the duration of the assignment.
​
Destination Photography Quotes
For longer-distance assignments, destination photography travel expenses may include airfare, rental vehicles, ground transportation, lodging, parking, and applicable meal allowances.
​
All required travel expenses are reviewed in advance and included in your photography proposal, providing a clear understanding of the total cost before confirming your session or event.
