Intuit IDEAS 3.0 Graduation at Vyoone’s: A New Orleans Celebration

On October 1, 2026, I photographed the Intuit IDEAS 3.0 Graduation at Vyoone’s in New Orleans, documenting an evening centered on entrepreneurship, growth and the accomplishments of the program’s graduates.
Intuit IDEAS—short for Invest, Develop, Empower, Accelerate and Scale—is a small-business accelerator that combines Intuit technology and expertise with business coaching and executive development. The program works with partners including the National Urban League and Zella Life to help participating entrepreneurs strengthen and grow their businesses.
The New Orleans graduation brought that journey to a close with graduate portraits, remarks, personal reflections, recognition and plenty of time for the class and its supporters to celebrate together.

Celebrating the Intuit IDEAS 3.0 Graduates
The evening began with arrivals, mingling and graduate portraits before moving into the formal program.
The ceremony included welcome remarks, Intuit and executive remarks, partner remarks, graduate reflections and the Graduate Recognition & Walk. Closing remarks were followed by a Class of IDEAS 3.0 photograph to bring the program to an official close.
One thing I liked about photographing this event was that the program wasn't limited to a formal recognition ceremony. There was time built into the evening for graduates to interact, reconnect with the people who had supported them and enjoy what they had accomplished.
That gives an event photographer more than podium photographs. It creates opportunities for candid conversations, congratulations, portraits, reactions and the quieter moments happening between the major parts of the program.
“Elevate Your Future Together”
The visual theme throughout the graduation was “Elevate Your Future Together.” Intuit's blue-and-white branding carried through the room with a large graduation backdrop, blue, white and metallic balloon installation and a series of vertical displays reading Celebrate, Recognize, Elevate and Together.
Those details matter in corporate event photography. They establish where the event took place, who created it and what the celebration was about before you ever get to the photographs of speakers and attendees.
The program also acknowledged the larger team behind the graduates, including the Intuit team, the National Urban League, Zella Life, coaches and counselors, Values Partnerships and additional supporting staff.
That made the graduation feel less like an isolated ceremony and more like the conclusion of a collaborative professional-development experience.
A Branded Photo Booth for the Celebration
The graduation also included a separate photo booth experience for attendees.
The booth carried the same “Elevate Your Future Together” graduation branding used throughout the event, giving graduates and guests another way to create photographs during the celebration.
I photographed the booth and its surrounding branded setup as part of the overall event coverage. For corporate events, documenting these interactive elements is important because they show more than who attended—they show how the event was produced and how guests experienced it.

A New Orleans Corporate Celebration at Vyoone’s
Vyoone’s gave the graduation a distinctly New Orleans setting.
Located at 412 Girod Street in the Warehouse District, Vyoone’s is a Black woman-owned French-Creole restaurant built around a blend of French culinary tradition, Afro-Creole heritage and New Orleans hospitality. The restaurant also hosts private events, making the space well suited to an intimate corporate celebration like the Intuit IDEAS graduation. Vyoone's
Inside, the exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, colorful architectural details and artwork provided a warm contrast to Intuit's clean blue-and-white event branding.
Tables were set for guests, the branded graduation backdrop and balloon installation became a focal point of the room, and buffet service helped keep the evening social rather than overly formal.
It was exactly the kind of environment where wide room photographs, décor details and tighter candid images could work together to tell the complete story of the event.
About Vyoone’s Founder Dr. Vyoone Segué Lewis
The story behind Vyoone’s also makes the venue noteworthy.
Founder and owner Dr. Vyoone Segué Lewis is a fourth-generation New Orleanian whose career has crossed several very different disciplines. She earned a PhD in medical genetics and has worked as a pediatric geneticist, while also being a classical clarinetist, chef and entrepreneur. Current profiles of Dr. Lewis describe her as the sole owner of Vyoone’s and connect the restaurant to both her New Orleans heritage and her mother's legacy.
She founded Vyoone’s with a vision of bringing refined French cuisine to New Orleans' Warehouse District. Today, the restaurant describes its approach as French-Creole fine dining rooted in Afro-Creole heritage and classical French technique.
There was a natural connection between that story and an event centered on entrepreneurs developing their businesses: the graduation was taking place inside a New Orleans business created by an entrepreneur with an unconventional path of her own.
Photographing the Full Event Experience
My goal with New Orleans corporate event photography isn't simply to photograph the people standing at a microphone.
For the Intuit IDEAS graduation, the complete story started before the ceremony: the welcome signage, branded displays, registration area, name badges, dining setup, graduation backdrop, balloon installation and other details were all part of establishing the atmosphere. The program then moved into candid interactions, graduate reflections, recognition and the final class photograph.
Photographing those different layers gives a company a much more useful final gallery. There are images for internal communications and employee or participant recognition, but also photographs suitable for social media, future event promotion, public relations, recruiting and company storytelling.

New Orleans Corporate Event Photography
Corporate events create moments that only happen once—graduations, awards ceremonies, conferences, executive receptions, employee celebrations and company milestones. The photography should preserve those moments while also giving your organization professional images you can continue using for marketing, public relations, recruiting, social media and internal communications.
