Courtyard Ceremony and Indoor Reception


Mike and Regina held their ceremony in the private outdoor courtyard at Algiers Auditorium before moving inside for the reception.


The courtyard gave the ceremony a softer, greenery-forward look with even natural light, while the indoor reception created a completely different atmosphere for entrances, dancing, speeches, photo booth interactions, and the final second line.


Using both spaces gave the wedding gallery visual variety without requiring the couple or guests to travel between venues.




Photo Booths During the Reception


The reception also included both a 360 photo booth and an iPad photo booth, giving guests interactive options throughout the evening while the main photography continued documenting the reception.


The booths added another layer of guest entertainment without replacing traditional reception coverage.




A New Orleans Second Line to Close the Celebration


Mike and Regina ended their wedding with a full New Orleans-style second line featuring Tidal Wave Brass Band, Zulu Tramps, and stilt walkers.


As the music started, the coverage shifted from formal reception photography into documentary storytelling—wide photographs to show the scale of the celebration, tighter frames for expressions and reactions, and movement-focused images as the couple and guests joined the parade.


The second line created a high-energy ending to the wedding gallery and captured one of the most recognizable traditions of a New Orleans celebration.
